"We are beneficiaries of the Carnival this year so as much support that you can give will as always be apreciated. We will be encouraging all the players to take part on the day - either running a stall,be part of the procession or simply just be present wearing their kit. Please remember that we will receive a percentage of money from the Carnival. This will go towards the clubs new equipment programme which will benefit all the children"

Last weekend saw the Saturday teams face the rain however there was still some positive results.

Away v Merstham
WON 0-7
Report submitted by Lee Reekie:
Had an early kick off 9.30 and only six players but we started well and soon took the lead. Merstham had a few chances but with some great defending and goal keeping they could not get the goal they deserved.

After the 2nd goal we could not stop scoring - Goals came from Sean Moir, who curled one in from a corner, Tom ,who got a hatrick and two from Rahmaan. Man of the match goes to Harry Fluen who had a fantastic game.

UNDER 11's
Home v Walton Warriors
WON 6-0
Report submitted by Steve Williams:
Park played some of the best football of the year working the ball well down the right and getting the crosses in and it was only a matter of time before we scored but this one was down the center and a good run from Matthew Runacres round the keeper and in, that was soon followed by a goal from Owen Maurice before Matthew Auletta broke through and hit an early shot that the keeper blocked but the ball came off him and looped into the goal. With Ben and Charlie running the midfield - Park were on top and if it was not for the keeper they would have added more.  The first half was won by Park who saw Finn Rainbird hit the ball high from just outside the area and dropped in, behind a stranded goal keeper , to score.

Second half saw the park defence under attack which they dealt with comfortably. Both Finn and Matthew Runacres added to there goal tally, Finn had a tap in from yet another cross and Matthew shot it past a stranded keeper. Yet another good performance from the boys who are now 6 points clear as second placed team drew. All in all a good weekend.

SUNDAY
UNDER 13's
Away v Roundshaw Colts
DRAW 1-1
Report Submitted by Maurice Auletta:
A fixture which had some concern - however an independant referee ensured a fair game was played.
The first half showed Roundshaw dominating most it and went 1-0 up by utilising open field left unmarked by Park. The Manager was urging for halftime as he could see players heads had dropped allowing Roundshaw to enjoy easy football.

A change in tactics and some surprise subtistutions saw a different 2nd half. Park now with the downhill advantage started to use the wings and create chances. Good interplay between Matt and Andrew ,who was playing upfront
for the first time, ended in goal !!  This gave park the boost they needed and they started to dominate the areas lost in the first half. Further chances were had by Park but it was not to be. The game ended in a draw - This result means Park are now unbeaten in 3 games. Man of match this week went to Rohan who played his best football this season.
