First game for this newly formed teams, but this did not show as the boys focused on playing football. Bookham were pushed back and defended well keeping Park at bay and hitting us on the break, it was from a corner that the inexperience of the team came to light when a Bookham player came in at the back post to score. Park just picked up the pace and forced three corners and from one Callum sent the ball in so hard that the Bookham goal keeper has no chance when the ball hit him and went in. Callum soon followed this up with a strike of quality from the left he sent the ball flying into the right corner. The second half was all Park but try as they would we could not get that third goal. With time running out it was a last gasp strike that gave Bookham a point. Daniel Behan was a wonder at the back dealing with all that came his way. Sam Bond worked hard in the centre, with some good passing skill, Sean Flannery went from defence to midfield well all game working hard, Daniel Hall got stronger as the game went on and gave is all as did Sean Moir and Luke Norris both getting in the thick of the game. Joseph Moore played as striker and gave Bookham problems all game. Stephanie McGrath came on and made some telling moves working well with the others. David Parr in goal did not have a lot to do but what he had he did well with some great goal kicks. Callum Collins was the strong midfielder that linked it all together he gave Bookham all sorts of problems so much they had to put two players on him. Thomas Behan helped his brother in defence and ran all game taking the ball from defence to attack well, his running and skill helped Park all game and earned him man of the match.
