On a bitter, but dry morning, the under 12's went out to play a team two divisions above them; and to quote their manager, as he left, "how did we win that!".

The game started well with both sides coming close to scoring and Park hitting the post. Wildcats had two good efforts saved and then after a bit of a mix-up they went a head. Park did not panic, they just carried on playing. This carried on into the second half and it was all one way to the Hamsey goal. Emma and Elena worked hard and kept the pressure on with shots and good passing. Charlotte, Beth and Emily played the best they have done all season. Honor, Rebecca and Sarah gave their all and we must not forget Caroline, who played well out on pitch and then did a good job in goal.

So the girls did not get the result, but this game was the best they have played, full of good passing, movement and end product. The only thing we did not do was score, for the first time this season.
