 For the second week in a row Queens Park Under 11 Girls were behind and looked dead and buried but a newly found grit and determination saw them battle back and snatch a result in the last quarter of the game. Last week the girls came from behind  to beat Abbey Rangers, this week Park were 1-3 to South Park before snatching a point with a late two goal burst.
Queens started the brighter of the two outfits and took an early lead when Ellie lashed in a left foot cross that deflected in off an unfortunate South Park defender. However South Park came back strongly and scored two good goals as Queens went into their shell a little. 2-1 to South Park at half time.
With the advantage of the elements the crowd were expecting Queens Park to dominate the second half. It didn't happen and South Park looked to have won the game after their striker calmly slotted home as the ball broke from another excellent Jemima save.
This was the Queens Park wake up call and with less than 10 minutes to go the girls redoubled their efforts. A clumsy challenge brought Jordan down in the box. She dsted herself down and struck the penalty fiercely into the net. The equaliser  came moments later and was amost a repeat of last weeks winner.  A Michaela special, blasted in over the keeper from outside the box.
The girls showed real character to come back today will be tough to beat if they continue like this..
