First game of the new year and despite the score, not that bad for the Park girls. They started well and could have scored first. It was Bells that did and Park fell apart for a short time until they got their second wind, Harriet and Danielle worked well in the centre and Simone had one of her better games. For me there were two girls that gave their all today and have shown how far they have come. First at the back, at times on her own, Charlotte, just kept blocking and running and Emily, up front, had a fine effort blocked and caused problems all game.
Not to forget the others that came on, worked hard and again got no reward apart from knowing they had given their all.
