This was the best that Park have played with a high tempo, close down, win the ball approach that seemed to stun the opposition. Park had several good chances in the first half but could not find the power to finish it off. The defending was just top drawer with Beth and Charlotte working hard all game, so much so they played the whole game. Harriet and Danielle had their best games pushing forward and getting back, with Emily running at the oppositions defence, they could not handle her.
Caroline showed that she is as good as any, with a fine display of goal keeping and we must not forget Honor and Sarah who just kept up the pressure, allowing Simone to carry the ball down the wings. This was by far their best game. With an hour of football they only dropped for five minuets and got punished with three quick goals. But that apart, keep this up and we will get that win before the end. Last point to take from this, Farncome have got four Chelsea girls in the team, they play at the top and we gave them a good game. Well done to all of you I am so pleased to see you enjoying the competition and you have never given up.
